Chair Yoga with Sandi  is a fitness program that enables the benefits of traditional yoga practice to be enjoyed by seniors, the overweight, people in rehabilitation, those with injuries, or those with other health concerns. Strength, flexibility, and balance can be enjoyed by everyone. By transferring the practice of yoga to a chair instead of a mat, stresses on the joints and limbs are eliminated. Focused breathing, guided meditation, and chanting are incorporated into the lessons providing a mind-body integration that helps in overall wellness.

This program is a synthesis of multiple teachings, personal experience, and tailoring to the individual.
